Welcome back to me!

So its been an eternity since I've last posted...2008 to be exact.  May of 2009 my mother became extremely ill with Cancer.  The kids and I moved to Ohio for 8 months to care for her.  She passed away in  July of 2009.   Life pretty much stood still after her passing.  I feel like I've been in a giant fog or that I've been watching someone else's life from the sidelines.  Mourning has been pretty much nonexistent.  Maybe someday I will get in a good cry.

Well anyway, I have spent a lot of the past 4 years on Facebook.  Facebook.....what to say about that. Well its definitely gotten out of hand for sure.  People use it as a means to hurt others and to tear them down.  I'm not that kind of person and felt more and more like I could get sucked into that kind of behavior.   So Tom and I together committed to getting off of Facebook.  Its much easier to stay committed when you both are off.  

The next few weeks look to be very challenging since we are moving back to California. WOOHOOO!!!!  I'm so excited as is the rest of the family.  There are so many things I miss about California.   How about I list them!

1. The Weather.
     I'll admit it, I miss the constant shine of the sun.
2. The ability to be outside more than 175 days a year
3. The Hiking nearby.
4. The enormous amounts of museums
5. Indoor play places on rainy days
6. My family (who are not blood related)
7. No more traveling for Tom!!
8. My home

I could keep going on but I won't bore you with it all.

But the most amazing thing about this move, its all God led.  He has orchestrated so much smoothness in this move.  Our house sold after two days, our large items sold in two weeks.  The kids were registered for school back in March.  We have painters hired to paint the inside of the Cali house.   Our babysitter will be flying out to Cali with the kids and I while Tom drives the car and the dogs back.
May 31st can't get here soon enough...
