So my favorite commercials right now are all the mac commercials. I mean I can relate to everything in those commercials. I was once a non-believer of Mac. I had flip-flopped many times over the years. There was a brief time in history when I liked mac but then loyally went back to PC. It was the norm. But now I feel its time the better computer prevails. PC owners are completely in the dark. The bottom line is they dont want to have to learn a new operating system. But its very close to the windows operating system. Because I do believe (tom correct me if I'm wrong) the windows 95 up to XP are loosely based on the Mac platform. So there's really no excuse at all other than people hate change. I switched my mom over to Mac. For her its much more realistic as she's not that computer literate but needs a stable reliable computer for working. She's been catching slack ever since by the Mid-Ohio Valley Oakies. I mean they profess to know so much about computers, but really they know nothing about computers. My mom was so frustrated from all the negativity that she was sobbing because she was sick of the hassle. She likes her mac. In her words, " I haven't had to reformat the hard drive because of viruses, and My internet works all the time, its never gone down." Other than the fact that she knows nothing about computers so its going to be work for her to learn, its a great computer for her. But then again she knew nothing about a PC/windows either. I sent her a tutorial from MAC101 website. I will be calling her today just to check in on how she's doing. In time she will realize just how much easier a MAC is from a PC not from a tinker toy perspective but from an operating persepective. It just runs better. I'm not just saying this because my husband works for Apple. He works for Apple because he likes the MAC. And we were MAC users long before he started working at Apple.
So I could write a list of why I think MAC is better but it would just reiiterate all those MAC commercials. It really is all true. Apple doesn't have to worry about False advertising because really its ALL true. I'm just glad that I dont have to upgrade my video card sound card wireless card memory harddrive every other month. Three years I have had my computer and haven't spent a dime on it, PC users can you say the same?
