God's Garden Must be Beautiful...
God looked around the garden, and found an empty space. He
Looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you, and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful for he only takes the best.
He knew that you were weary, and he knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never be well on earth
again. He saw the roads were getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered Peace be thine
Just a way to keep up to date on Da Byrnes and all they do. If you dont want to hear about my kids, well then this isn't the blog for you! :D But we do do a TON of very interesting and fun things, so if you stick around you might enjoy the ride.

Caitlin's first Performance
Here is Caitlin in her first ever singing performance. She was so afraid to get up there and we were nervous that she would come off screaming or throw a huge tantrum on stage. I gave her a snowman pin to put on her dress and I told her it was full of bravery and that if she was nervous to just touch it. All through practice she would touch it and before long she didn't need it anymore. There was a second song they did but I (like an idiot) forgot to hit the record button, we are going to try to get a copy of it from the church, they videotaped it or so we think.

Parents "WORST" Fears
So last night we had a simple dinner. The kids requested PB&J's and apples and a few chips. I was willing. A light dinner never hurt anyone. After I settled the kids down to eat, I made my dinner; then I realized I forgot to give Caitlin her water. As I walk over to the kids little table, I noticed christian spiting into his plate. I asked him what was wrong. He looked up at me, eyes bulging, lips purple, and drool coming out of his mouth. I immediately freaked! I knew he was choking. You always think your ready to use the first aide training you get before the kids are born, but when its stressful its a different story. I immediately grabbed him and started the heimlich. I was so scared I was hurting him, but I had to get whatever it was out of his throat. His face was turning redder and his lips were a darker purple. He started to cough a few times and tried to vomit, but it was not coming out. I yelled to Caitlin to get the phone that we had to call 911. She immediately jumped up to do as I asked (good thing, shes been having a hard time listening the first time). I sat christian on the counter so we were level and I kept trying. As 911 answered I told them my son was choking. They transferred me! What the hell is that all about? I'm waiting for the other operator to answer and I keep giving him the heimlich and as she answers he vomits the food up. He begins to cry and so I know he's better. The operator waited to see if he was ok before she hung up. He had choked on a chunk of apple. You always think you cut them up small enough, but its never a guarantee. He will tell you the whole story of how he took "too big of a bite and he choked and throwed up".
